DANIEL MARRS, VP & Publisher

As publisher of Zondervan Books, Daniel Marrs leads the imprint in the acquisition, development, and strategic release of Christian books that inspire, encourage, and transform. His prior publishing roles include serving as the publisher of Thomas Nelson Bibles and Study Resources, editorial director at Ave Maria Press, and associate publisher for Nelson Books. Before his publishing career, Daniel served for six years with the United States Air Force and taught undergraduate courses in Bible, church history, philosophy, ethics, and theology. Throughout his time with HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Daniel has had the privilege of working with a wide range of award-winning and bestselling authors, including Dr. Anita Phillips, John Eldredge, Max Lucado, Tyler Staton, Chris Hodges, Jefferson Bethke, Jon Tyson, Charles Stanley, Sean McDowell, and Carlos Whittaker

Daniel holds a PhD in religion from Baylor University and an MA in theology from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He, his wife, and daughter make their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

KEREN BALTZER, Associate Publisher

Keren has focused her editorial career on promoting titles that not only tell a great story and elicit a strong transformational, hope-filled response but are also strikingly well written and have broad commercial appeal. In her 20+ years in the Christian market, Keren has published a range of nonfiction New York Times bestselling authors.

At Zondervan, she is currently working on books with Rebekah Lyons, Nona Jones, Sandra and Allie Stanley, Ian Morgan Cron, Curtis Chang, and Nancy French. She is acquiring in the categories of spiritual memoir, pop culture/celebrity, self-help, spiritual formation, lifestyle, and cultural commentary.

Keren holds an MA in French Studies from New York University and a BA in French and International Studies from Taylor University. She, her husband and their three kids make their home in New York City.

WEBSTER YOUNCE, VP & Executive Editor

Webster Younce brings more than twenty-five years of publishing experience to Zondervan Books. As an editor, he has published a wide variety of authors at general market and Christian publishing houses, and his authors have won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the Whiting Award, the ECPA Christian Book Award, the Gospel Coalition Book Award, and other honors.

Acclaimed and bestselling authors with whom he has worked include Timothy Keller, Rick Warren, Craig Groeschel, Rebekah Lyons, Dallas Willard, Andy and Sandra Stanley, Bob Goff, Elizabeth Passarella, and John Eldredge. A graduate of the University of Oxford and the University of Mississippi, he lives in Nashville with his wife, their two daughters, and their dog, Biscuit.

ANDREA PALPANT DILLEY, Senior Acquisitions Editor

Andrea Palpant Dilley spent most of her editorial career at Christianity Today, working closely with a broad array of talent, including Philip Yancey, Fleming Rutledge, Esau McCaulley, Russell Moore, and Tish Harrison Warren.

As a writer and journalist who cares about good craft, she partners with emerging and high-profile thought leaders who know how to preach, teach, and engage the public square. Her acquisitions categories include spiritual memoir, spiritual formation, lifestyle, and cultural commentary.
